Ryan and Kristin were born and raised on farms near Leigh, so farming has always been a big part of their lives. Shortly before they were married on Valentine's Day in 2004, they started a small seed corn and soybean business. At first they were hesitant. At that time they were the owners of Mullenhoff Trucking and found their days busy hauling pigs and helping manage the family farm. Although neither of them were familiar with the ins and outs of the seed business, they took a leap of faith and started Ryan Mullenhoff Seeds. They thought, at the time it would be a short-term opportunity for their family which would soon be expanding. They welcomed their son Jackson Charles in May of 2005.
Over the next couple of years, they quickly found this "short-term" opportunity to become their forever future. In 2010, they added fertilizer and a list of other services prompting them to change their name to Ryan Mullenhoff Sales, LLC. Over the years they have continued to expand both the business, and their sales team. They have successfully grown into one of the most trusted full-service Ag Dealerships in the area,
with 4 locations, serving customers from 7 states. Known for their excellent customer service, community involvement, and 24-7 service, they have been proudly building relationships with farmers for over a decade. Due to their ever expanding business and sales team, in 2020 they officially changed the company name to REDSTAR, LLC.

Andy Method

Andy Joined the REDSTAR Team in 2023. Andy comes to REDSTAR with experience in the Chemical & Fertilizer Industry. Previously, Andy was a Chemical Sales Rep for east central Nebraska and most recently a Strategic Account Manager dealing with large equipment dealers and distribution partners for a nutrition company. Outside of REDSTAR, Andy helps out on his family farm and also farms himself. Andy received his Bachelor's of Agronomy Degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and is currently pursuing his MBA at Northwest Missouri State University. Andy is based out of Omaha, Nebraska.

Justin joined the REDSTAR Team in 2020. Justin comes to REDSTAR with many years of Farm Hand and Ag Experience.

Pete joined the REDSTAR team in 2024. Pete brings 15 years of Agronomy experience to while also serving in management roles. Pete earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.

Mitch joined the REDSTAR team in 2024. Mitch has several years of agronomy experience, having worked at a local cooperative prior to REDSTAR. Mitch earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.

Cort joined the REDSTAR Team in 2023. Cort is a graduate of Northeast Community College, and The University of Nebraska, Lincoln. Cort holds an Associate's of Science Degree as well as a Bachelor's of Agronomy Degree. Cort completed 2 internships with agronomic suppliers, and has spent several years working for feedlot and grain production operations.

Grant joined the REDSTAR Team in 2024. Grant holds a Bachelor's degree in Diversified Agriculture from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and has over 20 years of experience in the ag industry. For the past 12 years, he specialized in seed.

Ryan Hoffman joined the REDSTAR Team in 2022. Ryan comes to REDSTAR with over 20 years of experience in Ag Service and Sales. Prior to REDSTAR, Ryan worked in Ag Sales at a local implement dealership. During this time he acquired extensive knowledge in ag production and sales support while building strong relationships with his many customers.

Prior to coming to REDSTAR, Ryan had worked in the Sales and Service Industry for an Ag Dealership. Ryan also has a Custom Applicator’s License and is part-owner of REDSTAR Apply.

Scott comes to REDSTAR with many years of experience in Crop Research including; Agriculture, Agtech, Data Science, Data Analytics, Remote Sensing, Machine Learning, Software Development, and Climate Tech. Scott earned his Bachelor's Degree in Agronomy and Crop Science from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. Scott has his Custom Applicator's License and Remote Pilot Certificate.

Tom holds a Bachelor's Degree in Agribusiness and Management from South Dakota State University.
